Bio:

Ana was the apprentice of the previous White Council Warden of Las Vegas (who was killed in the first volleys of teh Vampire War several years ago). She willingly agreed to be turned by Count Dosti of the Red Court in exchange for her life.

She was already attracted to necromancy because of a deep-seated obsession with finding a way to cheat death after watching her father die slowly from cancer. Wizards are already long-lived, but becoming Red Court gave her even greater immortality as well as opening up the study of necromancy without having to dodge the White Council Wardens.

She occasionally regrets her choice, but her forbidden studies and her new vampiric nature have combined to destroy all but the tiniest fragments of her humanity.

Interestingly, she has little interest in Red Court politics and has less influence than her considerable power would suggest. She is happy to act as Count Dosti’s weapon on occasion in exchange for her privileges.
